Parachute Plan is a blog where I’m working out the rough notes for a book I have in mind to write by the same title. The idea is that we all should have a plan in place to help us to a soft landing should our current employment situations change.
As a manager who has both hired and fired people and an employee who has worked as a freelancer, a full time minion, a manager, and a member of the core management team of an internet startup, I think I have some ideas to help us all both be better employees, be better employers, and run better businesses while making sure that we don’t lose sight of looking out for number one. As a writer, editor, and former educator, I think I can communicate these things to others.
